This Was Unexpected

I haven't written in a very long while, and I apologize for my absence. I don't want to make any promises about how often (or not) I'll post until I'm absolutely sure I can keep that promise. For several months, I'd been very busy revising and editing a book of mine for publishing. Right now, I am waiting for the detailed roadmap so I can do a (hopefully) final revision/edit to get it ready to publish. I've been hearing horror stories of people who send their books to ARC and Beta readers only to have their books stolen. And because the book wasn't under copyright , there's nothing that can be done about it. It's not uncommon.  I don't want to send my book out until it is fully copyright-protected. That way, if some book villain tries to manifest itself while reading over my work, I can take them to court should they try to get their grubby paws on my stuff. My books are like my children. They are my creations, and it's my responsibility to ...

Another Update On the Story I Cried Over!!!

Hi everyone! Well, I'm pleased to announce that the story I cried so hard over I guess two weeks ago, is finally finished! I started that story on February 14th two years ago. I finally put "The End" on the story a few minutes ago. I was (and still kind of am) very attached to those two characters, but they stopped "talking" to me tonight.  When I go over the story again, probably months from now, I'm pretty sure I'll think of something else that could be added to it. For now, though, that story is finished, and I am so happy about that. Two weeks ago, I thought I lost progress on a story I spent the past two years adding little bits and pieces to because I kept getting stuck. Tonight, I finally gave the story an ending, and I'm so happy about that. It's always a relief to close out something you've worked so hard on.  Can't wait to share my babies with the world! Deuces, y'all! Rosey Lav

Update On Story I Cried Over

Hi Everyone! So, I didn't want to give up on the story I cried over. I had been doing so well on it and worked on it longer than I had since I started the story on February 14, 2021. This story is really close to my heart, and quickly became a "love" of mine, even though it is still currently unfinished. I guess that was why I cried over it. Hours of work and thousands of words just suddenly gone. I was afraid I'd lose the enthusiasm I had for it and stop. I was just determined not to. Anyway, I remembered the basic gist of what I wrote before I lost it in the "Malfunction Junction". I was able to rewrite it (not exactly the same, but mostly), and I finished maybe two chapters since then. I really want to finish this story, and am hoping it turns out as well as I'm picturing it. I'm still trying to get an ending in my head. I kind of have an idea but don't want it to be corny.  Anyhoo, that's how it is right now. I'll keep updating as I c...

Oh, How I Cried!

The story I'm working on now is very special to me. As I said in one of my narration videos, I'm manifesting storylines. This is one I've been working on for maybe two or three years now, and for the most part, the story's premise would come to me in bits and pieces. Whenever I got an idea, I'd write it out and once that Idea was typed out, the well would go dry, and I'd stop, close out that story and go on to something else.  Well, when I finished editing and revising the last story I worked on before this one, I couldn't get the characters of this book out of my mind. At the time, I didn't really have an idea to move the story forward, but I didn't figure it would hurt to read over what I had. I'm glad to say that since re-opening that story, I've added to it considerably. I'm proud of how it's turning out, and love how it's going so far. To see what I'm talking about when I say, "I'm manifesting storylines" I...

Revising and Updating Other Books/Stories of Mine

Hey Everyone! I hope this new blog posting finds all who read this doing well. I have been keeping quite busy for several months now. Since maybe September I have been opening up every story I have (finished and unfinished) and started editing and revising them one by one. It started with my story First Time Angel . I lost the enthusiasm I once had for it. After realizing it wasn't as complete as I thought it was, I just didn't want anything to do with it anymore. After I started adding on to it, though, I liked how it was coming out. I even changed the title to Angel . I didn't want to get burned out on that story, so I went to my big anthology series called Wait For You . That book is an anthology of four different stories (all erotica). Three of the stories are connected, one is not, but has a similar theme. They are paranormal in nature and I just adore the stories in the series. The book has three band members, each with their own paranormal encounters. They get throug...

New Update On My Projects

Hola Mi Amigos y Amigas!!! So, I completed the editing and revisions for my book "Come On Over to My Place" and have renamed the book. After going over the story and re-reading certain aspects of it, I have renamed it "For the Love". I had so much fun revising that because I love the book so much. There is another I am working on now, and haven't decided whether or not to rename it. I may keep the same title. I have also taken out some parts that may be too much for people. The story is already quite triggering. I don't want to trigger people too much.  I am now over half-done with the revisions of this book and don't know what to revise/edit next. I don't know when I'll publish anything yet. I'm still debating within myself if and when to do that. My book "Angel" is still on KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), but it's just unpublished for now. I have to change the cover and title for that one as soon as I can. Well, as soon as I...

After Four Months Away

Hey Peeps and Peepettes:  I haven't updated in many months (I guess about four) and I'm sorry about that. During that time, I unpublished everything I had online and decided to spend time editing and revising the stories I had. As I said then, the stories I initially had up weren't ready yet. I just wanted to see if I had the courage to put myself out there. Sadly, what I put out there wasn't yet fit for human consumption. I have revised at least one of the books I published, First Time Angel (since renamed  Angel ). I have also started revising some of my bigger projects. I think I finally completed Wait For You ,  a four-story paranormal erotica/romance anthology.  The reason I used the phrase "I think" is because every time I read over my work, I find that there is more story to be told. Case in point: I am now editing and revising a book I am truly excited about. I changed the title twice. It went from I Ran to On the Run to Fed the F* Up. I changed the...
