Hey, y'all. I know I haven't blogged in a pretty long while, but I have an update. As you can see in the title, I have a one-star review on Amazon. Yeah, it hurts, but two things are keeping me from being totally heartbroken like I was at first: Only two people have bought my book so far. It's embarrassing as hell, but no sense in keeping it a secret. One of the two people didn't like it. They didn't leave a worded review, just the star. Why would you do that to someone trying to forge a career? If you didn't like the book, at least be fair enough to tell people what you didn't like about it. But to just leave one star could deter people from buying it, and that's really not fair to new authors trying to make it. We have it hard enough without somebody leaving a one-star review without being decent enough to say what you didn't like about it. I know my work won't be for everybody.
