I have a manuscript called Get Back Up that I think will grip people's attention, as well as let them know that even if they were once victims, they don't have to stay victims. They can reach inside themselves and find the strength within them to overcome different types of trauma. Even if the trauma is just facing the ex of a newfound lover.   Excerpt: Lt. Potter slowly entered the darkened house and breathed in the familiar scent. Nothing in the house changed in all that time. The furniture was well kept, the pictures on the walls had faded only slightly, and even the knick-knacks were intact. Evan didn’t know what to do about the house after his parents left it to have a bigger house built in the country. They wanted to live near Lynée’s parents, but he thought about selling the old place. He said he might at least rent it out. Why not make money off of it? Lt. Potter thought she heard a sound.
