After Four Months Away

Hey Peeps and Peepettes:

I haven't updated in many months (I guess about four) and I'm sorry about that. During that time, I unpublished everything I had online and decided to spend time editing and revising the stories I had. As I said then, the stories I initially had up weren't ready yet. I just wanted to see if I had the courage to put myself out there. Sadly, what I put out there wasn't yet fit for human consumption. I have revised at least one of the books I published, First Time Angel (since renamed Angel). I have also started revising some of my bigger projects. I think I finally completed Wait For You, a four-story paranormal erotica/romance anthology.

The reason I used the phrase "I think" is because every time I read over my work, I find that there is more story to be told. Case in point: I am now editing and revising a book I am truly excited about. I changed the title twice. It went from I Ran to On the Run to Fed the F* Up. I changed the story based on what I perceived in the story. Anyway, I've added a lot more to the story and I'm probably still not done yet. I'm still quite excited about this book, though, because it's one of the first stories I became obsessed with just based off of a thought. When I start to write, I normally don't know where the story is going until I really get off into it. That is why I don't/can't do an outline. How can you plot out a story you don't really know the plot of?

A lot of the stories I have are ones I became obsessed with and kept writing just to see what was going to happen next. Others, I'm stuck on and still don't know what's going on. With this one, I'm obsessed with the characters and hope everyone becomes as obsessed with them as I am. I also still release YouTube videos every two to three weeks. I record when I can and don't when I can't. I also took my website offline. I didn't know what I was doing. I just wanted a website because I was told I should have one. I don't have the money to make it a well-fleshed-out site, so while I haven't fully gotten rid of it, it's not online anymore.

I don't have a definite timeline for when I'll release anything yet. I also don't know where or how my works will be released. I'm looking into going back to Amazon and possibly Smashwords/Draft2Digital. I'm also looking into some Indie publishing houses to see if maybe they will help me out. I just hope those of you who've taken an interest decide to stick with me and support me when I finally decide to put my work on the market again. Anyway, thank you for your time, and I'll update you again when I can.

Upcoming Projects

Hey, guys! Here are some of my upcoming projects. I'm working on manuscripts right now. I have to go through and do some editing and rewriting, and it's coming along. Not as quickly as I would like, but still... I'm trying to decide which road (publishing-wise) will be best for my brand of stories. I'm an erotica writer. I also have my toe dipped into a children's book (different pen name) and a book on pop culture and my experiences with it. There is also a biography in the works and a self-help-style thing that may just wind up being a blog. I don't feel I have enough material for it to be a book. If I decide to go with an agent, hopefully, there will be one who understands and shares my vision. When I write erotica and romance, I don't always keep just the woman's perspective. I try to show things from the man's point of view as well. I like to show what people are thinking, how they are feeling, and what they are going through. When you watch a m...

Do You Believe in Ghosts and Spirits?

Do You Believe in Ghosts and Spirits?   Do you believe in ghosts and spirits? I do. I'm about to tell you a few of my experiences. I only wish they weren't real, but alas... these things did happen to me, and I can never forget them.  At the age of nine, my mom and I were living with her boyfriend in his childhood home with his mother, brother, and sister. It was a pretty nice house in one of the older (and now roughest) parts of town on the west side called Ensley. I was home alone that particular day, and have no idea where the four grown-ups of the house were. I had no worries, as I sat alone in the back of the house watching television. It was sunny out, no winds, and nothing wrong with the power, yet the television went off on its own. I didn't try to explain it away. I simply ran from the back of the house through the room my mom and I slept in, out of the brother's room, straight through the dining room, and out the living room door. SCREAMING! I ran to the house...

So, It's Christmas Eve

Hey, y'all! So, it's Christmas Eve and I haven't posted in a bit. I decided to post a couple of Christmas poems here for you. One is the original version of A Visit from St. Nicholas . The other is a darker, goth version of the same poem. I love both and can't choose which one I love more. I think they're about even. Anyway, enjoy the poems, and have a very Merry Christmas! See ya next year!!! For those of us who don't mind a bit of tradition on Christmas Eve: “ The Night Before Christmas ” ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads. And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap, had just settled our brains for a long winter nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my b...
